While at the mall, a friend and I spotted an elderly man sitting alone on a bench.
We bought a card, and wrote a happy message inside, gave it to him, and walked away. About an hour later, he found us again, and said our card had lifted his spirits immensely, as his wife had just died a few weeks ago. He then handed us both a pretty pink rose. GMH.
