When I was 9, my best friend Catie was from a broken home . Her mother dropped her off at my house a few days before her birthday. She didn't pick her up for a week. My parents threw Catie an entire birthday party, complete with cake, decorations, and lots of presents, I can still remember Catie's smile and it GMH.
