My family & I got seperated in New York City when I was little. Scared, I sat crying on the sidewalk as tons of people passed by. A homeless man picked me up, comforted me, & carried me to a police officer, who found my parents. He had a long beard & I asked if he was Jesus. He laughed so hard he cried. He GMH.

I work at a hair salon, and every Saturday this man brings his wife in to get her hair washed and blow dried. She had a stroke and cannot walk or talk, he also puts her lipstick and blush on for her every morning. They have been together for over 50 years.

Awww, so cute (: He GMH too *__*
I believe he kind of was :)
Jesus was definatly working through him. =)
I definitely believe he was Jesus. :-)
That was sort of funny and hopeful.
Aw God does really work through many different people XD Homeless people like him gives me hope =D
Sometimes things in this world happen for reasons that we do not understand, and that is ok. Bad things happen to good people, but we all work through them--that is what makes us stronger, and it teaches us how to be compassionate to others. #11, I respect your opinion, but I also ask you to please respect those who do believe in a loving God and who see God acting through this wonderful man. #12, saying that this man was allowing God to work through him does not lessen anything. For those who have faith, this is one of the biggest compliments. It means that this man was strong enough and loving enough to be open to letting God work through him. It shows the true greatness of this man to say that he is so in touch with love.
If he's not Jesus, then, at least, he's Santa. God bless him.
Happiness GMH. I'm glad you made his day.
I do not believe it 'was Jesus'. I think it was humanity- people can be awesome.
my story is true, and ironically i was raised in a half-buddhist half-christian household. all humanity is god, and all god is humanity. people can identify god as an idol or as a feeling. i believe this man will be something spectacular in his next life and achieve nirvana early, and i believe that is god's doing.
That is beautiful. I cryed. #20 you disappoint me. To have God's love one does not need to be Christian. I have Muslim friends who believe in God, and I am Jewish, and we have come to a religious understanding that God cares more about living a non-harmful life than about belief in a diety. Which, Karina, I believe the Buddhists also believe? #11, you also disappoint me. By implying that this homeless man is in his situation because God put him there, and therefore God cannot exist, is not thinking things through. Use your mind!
aweeee, Thats really cutee (:
Haha, I agree #24, but this still GMH.
That's lucky. I would have gone paranoid if I were you.
i bet you made that guy's day. i'm not christian, but something about that story made me believe that there was something godly about him. say what you will, but this story makes me believe just a little bit more.
This is the most neutral way to say it, as a Christian: He represented God in your time of need. Give thanks for all mercy that touches our lives.
Who knows.....maybe he was Jesus. Or at least Jesus was deffinitly in his heart...and if u have that, it's all u really need ;)
Aww, people like that GMH
that was very sweet of the homeless man to take her to the police and she asked if the police was Jesus no it wasn't Jesus but jesus is soo good to everyone he helps everyone in good times and bad times
That made me laugh! Even if I don't believe in god and I know that you do so "God Bless that homeless man!"
I agree that god does work in mysterious ways and that he has done so by sending this man to rescue you when you where younger. THis is another of gods lovable ways :]
