As I approached the counter to pay for the haircut, the receptionist informed me that the gentleman who was getting his hair cut a few seats down from me had paid for my haircut. Just over two years ago, my young daughter ran up to a stranger on the street, asking him to marry her. I was so embarassed, but he was so sweet! He bought us both ice cream and after a while we started dating. Six months ago I got my very own proposal. My daughter's bravery brought two soul mates together. Baby girl you GMH

I cut like a foot and a half off of my hair for locks of love.. It was one of the most amazing/scary things ever. I admire you for this and the guy for paying. The people who do things like this GMH.

I've never cut hair before, but I just cut my boyfriend's hair for Locks of Love. This isn't the first time he's done so either. It is truly heartwarming.

I donated my hair twice - once in 5th grade and the other in 6th - and it GMH to see others donating their hair. Both times I donated mine, however; I went to Great Clips and they mailed the hair for me and paid for the haircut. It GMH and inspiration to see a company giving back.

I commend you for donating your hair and for the gentleman who paid. As much as I admire your courage(I could never cut my hair!), locks of love isn't a good place for you to donate to, they get your hair for free, but they make the people who are recieving the wigs pay insane amounts of money for wigs made out of real hair.

my 2 year old daughter is growing her hair out for locks of love, she has never had a hair cut...we are saving her first time for when we donate it. almost there only an inch more to go!!!!

As a guy, I've been growing out my hair for quite a while now, and decided about 4 months ago that I may as well let it keep going and donate it. Still got a while to go, though!
