i made a pen pal in the marines who was stationed in okinawa.

my prom approached and i had no one to go with. after mentioning this via email, he arranged to take a 2 week leave from the military to fly half way around the world to be my date.

to this day, it was the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me and we began dating. gmh!

swine flu is a virus....I believe (and don't quote me on this) that it does come from contact with pigs carrying the virus. I had it a couple weeks ago and it is no fun at all! hope she feels/is feeling better!
