*** Random LoveGivesMeHope Story ***

Just over two years ago, my young daughter ran up to a stranger on the street, asking him to marry her. I was so embarassed, but he was so sweet! He bought us both ice cream and after a while we started dating. Six months ago I got my very own proposal. My daughter's bravery brought two soul mates together. Baby girl you GMH

Wow... it's not often you find a teen willing to part with a $20, let alone a $100!

#5. What does that matter? Obviously he's not short of cash, but the fact he deliberately gave him more than he's ever got is purely to give him hope. It'd be stupid and ignorant to think it was just because he's rich and that him being rich somehow corrupts it.

"good teen"? this is a great story, but i hope the people commenting realize that not all teenagers are greedy and selfish, or unwilling to take time out of the day for other people.

I agree with #8. I'm a teenager and I take time out of my day and sacrifice hanging out with my friends and doing things for myself to comfort my girlfriend because she's moving to the other side of the world.

Yes not ALL teens are like that, but I think enough are that it kinda blurs the world's view of us. i'm just shy of 18, but since i was 14 i've done mission work, i've helped out at church and helped people with their kids and I give all of the time and energy that I can give to help others. I think it's the sweetest thing to hear stories like this though because I know people that would do stuff like that without hesitation or a thought as to how it could affect them. Sometimes without realizing how much of a difference they are making in someone else's life, they just do it because that is who they are. This sounds like he did it because he knew you would use it better than he would.

I would agree, I am also a teen and though I don't have 100 bucks to spare, I consider my self a nice person.

the reason why you've heard this before is because it's an old GMH. check the first comments, they're from may last year. Because of the new comment, it's listed higher again. still, it's a nice story =)
