A few weeks ago, I watched my 3 year old niece cross the finish line by herself at a run/walk, refusing to let anyone even hold her hands.
The run/walk was held in her honor. She was in a car accident 8 months before. Doctors said she would never live off machines. She has a ways to go, but she GMH.
