I'm a 17 year old male that has spent the last 4 years working through anorexia. Yesterday, I had a large order of French Toast with eggs and bacon for breakfast, a cheese burger and French fries for lunch, and a steak with mashed potatoes and corn for dinner. A couple months ago, my little brother came home from his first day in kindergarten. When I asked him about his class, he said "there's a girl in my class, and she's so pretty!" The girl he was talking about is a bald 5 year old with leukemia. His unconditional love GMH.

A few years back my grandpa was diagnosed with cancer, and I remember being really afraid.

He always told me not to worry and that he wasn't going to die yet.

The reason? When I was a little girl, he promised me he would be there to dance with me at my wedding.

His strength and love give me hope.
