A few months ago, one of my best childhood friends died of cancer. Devastated, I called my closest friend, and although he had to study for midterms, I talked to him the phone for almost an hour. About half an hour after we hung up, he showed up at my door out of the blue. A teenager biking 15 km in the pouring rain at 10pm on a weeknight GMH
