I'm fourteen, and I just had brain surgery.

I'll be out for our whole softball season, and I've been very depressed. I went to the first game, even though I couldn't play. I arrived to see every girl on the field had my number sewn on the front of their jersey.

I cried from happiness. My team GMH.

Wow. I had brain surgery at 13 and was on a soccer team. I wish my team was like yours. My coach wouldn't put me in the last game because I couldn't run, and my team acted like I wasn't on the field when he did let me play. I love this story though.
