- Want to get your story posted? : The way the story is written is VERY important. Try to end your story with a punch-line. If you can, QUOTE SOMEBODY in the story. It's OK to capitalize a word or two to add emphasis. And USE (first) NAMES!
- How it works: More than 150 stories are submitted each day. GMH visitors vote on all submissions for 7 days, and the 4 best stories are posted on the home page. So if your story doesn't appear there, as many as 100 people still read it and smiled while moderating!

Recently, my grandma got very sick, and had to go into intensive care unit. Upset as I was, my boyfriend was in a different country, and I had no connection with him.
