I was at the airport and soldiers were boarding a plane to Iraq.

A little boy, about five, went up to one of the men and said, "When you're over seas, can you tell my mom I love her?

She's in the army like you, but daddy said she's not coming home, so can you tell her for me?"

Today, my parents made me break up with my boyfriend.

Because of the age difference, they said I would have to wait a year to date him.

Thinking he would be upset, He said "It doesn't matter, I will wait. Until then, I will be your best friend."

A girl in my class has just recently gone through chemo and lost all of her hair during summer.

Her best friend, who has beautiful thick curly hair, came in with a shaved head.

She gave her hair to her friend, who now wears a beautiful head of hair.

Today, the apartment across the street was on fire.

There's a girl in a wheelchair that lives in there, along with several stereotypical gangster teens.

I just found out that those three young men risked their lives by going back in there to save the girl, despite the fact that she lived at the very top floor.
