My friend hurt her achilles stretching before a dance performance.
She told us that she'd dance through the pain for her sick father.
When it was her turn to dance we all watched in aw as she danced like she never had before.
She came off the stage crying in pain and with joy.
Her determination GMH!
Years ago, I was at a hotel for a sleepover.
A rumor spread that I was a lesbian.
The girls said they were uncomfortable, told her mother and I had to sleep in the other room with her.
I heard someone come in and without hesitation, got into bed next to me so I wouldn't be alone.
