I had my students write a paper about who they admired most
. They had to read their papers out loud. One girl chose to write about her friend that had recently committed suicide. She started crying in the middle of reading her paper.   Two boys, one of whom was very shy, ran to the front of the class and hugged her... in front of everybody.   Boys like these GMH
