Today, after confiding in my neighbour about my difficult relationship with my father and his intolerance of my Christianity, she took me to her church.
She also invited me and my sister to dinner. 
 
I also found out that she has been looking out for my sister when my parents leave her alone at weekends while I'm away at university.
